Lauren Makk is a well known Television Host, Interior Design expert, and Life Stylist. She is famous for creating incredible transformations -always under budget- and her charming and sassy personality is what makes her one of America's favorite design sweethearts. Makk debuted her skills as one of the newest designers on TLC's Emmy award winning Trading Spaces, and won the hearts of all home renovators as she tackled major construction problems on A&E’s Drill Team. Currently, you can find Lauren empowering homeowners to create the homes of their dreams thru savvy design advice and budget friendly tips on OWN’s Home Made Simple.  Lauren also was the Interior Design co-host on the daytime talk show, FAB Life.  A native of Oklahoma City, Lauren began her career as a young street art aficionado. The daughter of a residential investor and ‘home flipper’, Lauren was raised in the building and home improvement industry, and has blended her innate talents for design and construction experience to create her renowned firm, Lauren Makk Interiors, specializing in affordable luxury.
